KolenkitKas boeken?

De KolenkitKas is een flexibele ruimte die steeds kan veranderen. Een plek om samen te komen, noodzakelijk in een betonnen stad van eilanden. Een ruimte waar dingen groeien: connecties, planten, concepten van programma. Een plek waar structureel activiteiten zijn, maar altijd ruimte is voor het moment. Gedragen en beheerd door bewoners uit de Kolenkitbuurt.
Huisregels
Het is mogelijk om de KolenkitKas voor jouw eigen feest te gebruiken. Maar we hebben een paar belangrijke huisregels. De belangrijkste is nummer 1.
De KolenkitKas is een publieke ruimte die toegankelijk is voor iedereen. Je mag de KolenkitKas voor je eigen borrel, feestje of bijeenkomst gebruiken, maar het evenement moet toegankelijk zijn voor andere buurtbewoners.
De KolenkitKas mag tot 22.00 uur worden gebruikt. De KolenkitKas moet de volgende dag om 10.00 uur leeg te zijn voor de volgende verhuring.
Muziek is toegestaan, maar niet te hard. Geen technofeestjes. Houd er rekening mee dat de Kas in een binnentuin is waar ook mensen wonen. Een springkussen neerzetten is niet gewenst.
Als je de Kas gebruikt, ben jij verantwoordelijk: schade moet je zelf betalen. Het kan gebeuren dat er schade is waar je niets aan kan doen. Meld dit altijd, dan lossen we het samen op.
Laat de Kas achter zoals je haar aantreft.
Bij het niet naleven van onze huisregels of bij klachten van omwonenden hebben wij het recht een boete op te leggen van maximaal 200 euro.
Huur
We hanteren verschillende prijzen voor de huur van de Kas. Zo hopen we toegankelijk te blijven maar genoeg inkomen te generen om te blijven bestaan. Schat zelf in wat je kan besteden, een bewijs is niet nodig.
€0 – Je hebt zin in een feestje maar weinig te besteden, om wat voor reden dan ook. Boek de Kas gratis en organiseer je event hier.
€25 – Voor €25 betaal je de onkosten van de Kas, wij houden er niets aan over maar verliezen er ook niet op.
€50 – Betaal €50 en je draagt er aan bij dat de Kas blijft bestaan – denk aan kosten van schoonmaak, website, communicatie. Deze prijs voor jou als je genoeg geld hebt om af en toe een koffie to go te halen / uit eten te gaan / een rondje te geven in het café.
€75 – Betaal €75 als je genoeg budget hebt om voor je feestje of event ook catering of aankleding te huren. Je draagt niet alleen bij aan het onderhoud & programmering van de Kas maar ook aan de huur voor mensen die minder te besteden hebben.
€100 – Ben je een organisatie, bedrijf, stichting of krijg je subsidie voor iets wat je in de Kas organiseert? Dan betaal je €100.
Hout
Wil je hout stoken? Dit kan je zelf meenemen of een zak kopen bij ons van 12,50 euro per zak.

This month, we explore the Patterns of Plants—the iconic floral and botanical motifs of the Palestinian landscape that have decorated our traditional dresses (thobs) for generations.
Join us for a warm, hands-on journey into the art of Palestinian Tatreez, where you will craft a beautiful, unique piece to take home. In this workshop, you will learn the fundamental techniques of traditional cross-stitch while exploring the deep cultural meanings behind iconic Palestinian motifs.

Tatreez Workshop - Restyle Your Clothes
Join us for a hands-on workshop to breathe new life into your wardrobe using the art of Palestinian Tatreez. In this session, you will learn the techniques for stitching directly onto garments while exploring the deep cultural meanings behind iconic Palestinian motifs. Bring along a denim jacket, a basic T-shirt, a scarf, or a simple tote bag, and transform it into a unique, wearable story. Don’t have an item to upcycle? We will have a small selection of new pieces available for purchase. Designed for all skill levels, this session is a space to slow down, create, and connect.

Expect loads of somewhat new and vintage clothes as well as ceramics by Clay Studio and crochet crafts✨ All the proceeds will be donated to the Palestine Red Crescent Society 🖤 If you have clothes or books you would like to sell/ donate yourself feel free to bring them (between 12-14).

Blabla Sounds x Kolenkit Jam

Clothes Swap Event
Resident of Rhapsody are hosting a Clothes Swap Party on April 25th (2 PM – 6 PM) at the KolenkitKas. No money, just bring your pre-loved and still useable clothes, shoes, and accessories to swap! Friends and snacks are more than welcome.
We’ll have music, mirrors, and a great vibe ready for you. I’ll update you closer to the date if we need extra hangers, but for now—start digging through those closets! ✨

Gaatjesmakers: Visible mending workshop #2
Heb jij in je kast nog een lievelingstrui liggen die je niet meer draagt omdat er een gat in zit of is er op die heerlijk zittende jeans een onmogelijke vlek gekomen?
Kom dan naar een van onze gratis visible mending workshops in de Kolenkitkas in Amsterdam-West om zélf - maar wel gezellig met anderen - je kledingstuk te maken zodat je deze weer zin krijgt om het te dragen!
Wat is visible mending?
Visible mending is een manier van kleding repareren waarbij herstel bewust zichtbaar wordt gemaakt. In plaats van beschadigingen te verbergen, worden gaten, vlekken of slijtage hersteld met contrasterende steken, kleuren of materialen. Zo krijgt een kledingstuk een nieuw karakter en wordt reparatie een creatieve, positieve keuze in plaats van een noodoplossing.
Praktische informatie:
Tijd: van 19.00 - 22.00 uur
Het eerste uur zullen wij kort uitleggen wat visible mending is en een aantal basistechnieken laten zien, zodat je hier zelf in de laatste twee uur mee aan de slag kan. Verwacht dat je in één workshop één of twee gaatjes hersteld zult hebben.
Wat moet ik meenemen?
Je hoeft alleen een kledingstuk of kledingstukken mee te nemen die je graag wilt herstellen. Voor alle andere benodigdheden zorgen wij. Een kopje koffie of thee en lekkere koekjes zullen er ook zijn.
Heb ik ervaring in naaien, borduren of kledingherstel nodig om mee te kunnen doen?
Nee hoor, de workshop is zo ingericht dat iedereen, ongeacht ervaring, welkom is en aan het einde zelf een kledingstuk heeft kunnen menden.
Hoe kan ik me voor de workshop aanmelden?
De workshop is gratis, maar omdat we graag willen weten hoeveel mensen we kunnen verwachten, kun je je aanmelden via de pagina van het evenement op MeetUp. Maar mocht je spontaan willen langskomen, kan dat natuurlijk ook.
Organiseren jullie deze workshop vaker?
Ja, wij organiseren deze workshop in totaal zes keer. Drie keer op de locatie van de Kolenkitkas in West en drie keer in de Buurtkringloop in Oost. Alle andere data zijn ook op MeetUp te vinden.
